 Steve M. Paxos
President

Steve Paxos is regarded as indoor soccer’s most successful Commissioner. As Commissioner of the National Professional Soccer League from 1988 through 2000, the league enjoyed steady growth and remarkable stability. It grew from four teams to 15 and had 11 franchises compete for 11 years. Nine of those were in the same market for more than eight years apiece -- a feat unmatched by any other professional indoor soccer league to date. In addition, the NPSL had a three-year TV contract with ESPN and ESPN2, experienced record crowds and developed community-minded programs throughout America and Canada.

 George Veras
Executive Vice President / Consultant, Broadcasting, Television & Marketing

George Veras a 12-time National Sports Emmy Award winner, is currently President/CEO of Pro Football Hall of Fame Enterprises, and Veras Communications Inc., (www.verastv.com). Served as Vice President of Broadcasting and Marketing for the National Professional Soccer League (NPSL) from 1993-2000, and negotiated a multi-year telecast deal with ESPN. It featured a Game of the Week on ESPN2 and the NPSL All Star Game on ESPN. He also produced other NPSL All-Star telecasts on Fox Sports Net and coordinated all local telecasts

  Chuck Murr
Vice President, Media Relations

Chuck Murr was Media Director of the NPSL from 1995-2000. As a freelance journalist, he has written for The Associated Press and more than 30 major newspapers and magazines, including USA Today, The Sporting News, New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Baltimore Sun, St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Orlando Sentinel, Washington Post, and Chicago Sun-Times. He has reported on a variety of sports, including MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL, WNBA, MLS, PGA, NCAA, high school sports and other events. He has also been a freelance associate producer for telecasts on The Big Ten Network, Fox Sports, ESPN and Comcast.

Sally Rodgers served as Finance Director for the NPSL from 1988-2001 and is owner of Rodgers & Associates. She has received several awards and honors including: Professional Woman of the Year; American Society of Women Accountants; 1985 Outstanding Service Award; OSCPA’s 1987, Who’s Who of American Women, 1987; Who’s Who in the Midwest 1987; Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants Committee Chairman 1984-1987, American Society of Women Accountants President 1987; and REA Forum (Sole Practioners’ Group) Chairman 1998.
